Prisoners' kids, like Tim, and their parents are praying for a miracle this Christmas—and people like you will help provide it.

Dear Friend,

Christmas should be the best day of the year for a child. But for a prisoner's child, it's often a day that's just plain hard.

More than any other, it's the day they feel forgotten. The day that shame ... and loneliness ... and sadness threaten to overwhelm them.

That's the way Tim used to feel too. Until someone like you helped give him an Angel Tree Christmas.

Your love makes the difference

Tim can hardly walk without a limp anymore, but you would not have known it if you had seen him at the Angel Tree party. Half skipping, half dancing, he raced down the church aisle, with a smile on his face from ear to ear.

You would never have known how sick he is. You would never have guessed that his family has experienced far more than its share of tragedy.

All you would have seen is the difference love has made. And a boy who won't let anything stop him from living life to the fullest.

When Tim left the party that night, his arms were loaded with Christmas presents. There was the remote control car he'd been asking for. And the clothes his mom knew he needed. Tim's stepdad, who is in prison, had written a note to him. When Tim read it a few days later, tears welled up in his eyes.

But the most important gift Tim brought home from the party that night was a brand-new relationship with Jesus.

Tim was just one of 12 prisoners' kids who trusted Christ at the party that night. In fact, that's the best part about Angel Tree. With every gift that gets delivered, you also share the Gospel. And when you share the Gospel with a child, amazing things start to happen.

There's a child who needs you right now

Tim's story is inspiring. But I also pray that you'll do more than just read. You see, our goal this year is to give an Angel Tree Christmas to at least 320,000 children like Tim who have a parent behind bars.

That's a lot of kids who need Christmas. And we need your help.
