Reformation Day is Sunday, October 31st
On October 31st 1517, Martin Luther, the German theologian, posted his Ninety-five Theses on the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany. This date would be known as the beginning of Reformation, marking it as an important date in Protestant Christian History. For more information, check out our Reformation Day Resources below. NIV The Sola Scriptura Bible Project, hardcover
Sola Scriptura was the foundation of the Protestant Reformation 500 years ago. It was a call to return to the roots of our faith by embracing Scripture alone as our highest authority. The NIV Sola Scriptura Bible Project shares that vision and invites you to read the living Word in its most ancient arrangement.
Faith Alone: A Daily Devotional
Powerful excepts from the writings of one of the giants of the faith. It has been almost 500 years since Martin Luther wrote his famous ninety-five theses and nailed them to the door of the Castle Church in Germany. His challenge to the doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church ignited the Protestant Reformation and shaped the evangelical tradition of the modern church. As he anguished in his quest for truth, Luther came to understand that salvation is a radically free gift that must be accepted by "faith alone."

God's Word Alone: The Authority of Scripture
Historians and theologians alike have long recognized the rallying cries that rested at the heart of the sixteenth-century Protestant Reformation-sola scriptura, solus Christus, sola gratia, sola fide, and soli Deo gloria. Though the context and circumstances of life, the specific struggles or events throughout the church's history may shift, the five declarations that distinguished the Protestant Reformation from other expressions of the Christian faith continue to speak to us today, addressing a wide range of contemporary issues and serving as our great inheritance from those believers who have gone before us.
