Dear [firstname,fallback=Champion of the Bible],

Today, I’m asking for your help on urgent projects like getting three crucial trauma-healing resources to women and girls in South Asia, which includes nations like India and Afghanistan.

Our partner ministries there are working with girls who were forced to leave school and marry in their mid-teens, having babies before their bodies were ready. These ministries are counseling women who have endured decades of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. And they’re rescuing those who’ve been kidnapped into modern slavery.

All around the world, people need the healing power of God’s Word, and you can help with your gift. You’ll support projects like our Trauma Healing Language Community Plan for South Asia:

Asha: A Journey of Hope—a 9-week Scripture study based in the “I AM” statements of Jesus in the Gospel of John. This resource is designed to bring healing to women who’ve suffered trauma as well as to equip churches to recognize and minister to trauma in their communities. (Immediate goal: Translate into 5 large regional languages, print and distribute 6,000 copies)

Asha (underprivileged)—a simplified version of Asha: A Journey of Hope written to be accessible and easily comprehensible to women who have minimal literacy, such as child brides who were forced out of school at a young age. (Immediate goal: Translate into 8 large regional languages, print and distribute 100,000 copies)

Hope in Trauma—a new web-based app to help urban seekers encounter Jesus through the “I AM” statements. This interactive study includes Scripture, stories of suffering, art, and reflection questions. (Immediate goal: Launch app and train ministry partners to share it)

We believe that through these resources, training study group leaders, and other related activities, we can directly reach 240,000 people across South Asia this year—and millions more in years to come.

Will you give now to advance critical projects like this in 2022?
