Psalm 147:3 reminds us, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (NIV). God has a special tenderness for those who have experienced trauma, and through Biblica, you can reach out to survivors of war, violence, sexual abuse, and other traumas.
For years, Biblica supporters have helped provide Gospel-centered trauma-intervention resources to our partners working in places of immediate crisis. But if we’re truly going to be a part of God’s plan to heal the brokenhearted, we need to do more.
That’s why our July Summer Surge focus is the Global Urgent Initiative: Trauma Healing. Our goal is $87,000 to share more of our existing trauma resources and help develop the most comprehensive trauma-healing program ever created by a Bible Society.
And to challenge more Biblica friends to get involved, a concerned partner has pledged a seed gift of $50,000 to bring us to nearly 60% of the goal!
