I have given them the glory that You gave Me, that they may be one as We are one — I in them and You in me — so that they may be brought to complete unity. — John 17:22

It's not good to be alone because we were created for relationship. It's built into us to want to be loved and to love, to be helped and to help others, to be taught and to teach others, and on and on. We are meant to be a tapestry, not a single thread.
That's just one of the many reasons we can't wait to start Jennie Allen's Find Your People OBS beginning August 1st, with the community at FaithGateway. This study isn't just about making friends — it's deeper. It's about becoming who we're meant to be in the Kingdom of God, individually and as a church!
In this 7-session journey with Jennie we'll:
- Overcome the barriers to making new friends and learn to initiate with easy-to-follow steps.
- Find simple ways to press through awkward to get to authentic in conversations.
- Understand how conflict can strengthen relationships rather than destroy them.
- Learn the five practical ingredients you need to have the type of friends you've always longed for.
Never in the history of civilization have we been more connected and yet felt more alone – but it doesn't have to be this way. There is a way to live less alone. It is possible to live life intimately connected to other people. And, while the ache of loneliness is real, it doesn't have to be your reality.
We all long for a sense of community- it's how we were built by God. It might be hard work, but it's going to be so worth it!
