Decades ago, I made a personal decision that I would never write another book unless I felt the Spirit leading me to do so. At times, this meant going years without writing or releasing anything. Last year, I felt such a strong pull to write this specific message that I couldn't ignore it. In 40 years of ministry, I've seen a powerful truth play out time and time again. Where God is truly esteemed and feared, He manifests His presence. Where these qualities are lacking, His manifest presence is rare. In other words, experiencing God's presence isn't something that is simply left up to random chance. We have a lot to do with the measure of His presence that we get to experience. It comes down to developing the healthy, holy fear of Him, and walking in it. I wrote The Awe of God because I believe God wants to manifest His presence on the earth in ways that, up until now, we've only seen glimpses of. We are already seeing the first fruits of a great move of God. As this grows, I want us as the body of Christ to be prepared to steward it well.
