Let's stop and pray in anticipation of Jesus birth
This evening, let's anticipate the birth of Jesus and read this passage from Isaiah:
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

As the NIV Study Bible explains about Isaiah 9:6, "He will be an enduring, compassionate provider and protector.... His rule will bring wholeness and well-being to individuals and to society."
With all the stress and full schedules that we have leading up to Christmas, it's time to pause and reflect on Jesus' birth. As we celebrate his birth tomorrow, let's focus our anticipation on Him and praise Jesus for coming to this earth to save us.
