Nigeria's tragic reality: 60,000 Christians have been martyred to extremist violence since 2000. Last year alone saw 8,000 believers slaughtered, pushing Nigeria to No. 6 on the World Watch List of most dangerous places for Christians. OneHope shines the light of the Gospel for children worldwide, including Nigeria. Already we've reached 2 billion young hearts with God's Word across 148 languages. Now, we're focusing on Nigeria's next generation. Every $1 donated to OneHope will get God's story into the hands of 3 Nigerian children through local churches and partners. |

September 23 — For the first time in modern American history, young men are more religious than young women. While for decades women have been more reliable churchgoers and therefore seen as key to passing on the faith, a new trend is playing out among Gen Z. Young men are seeking the stability of tradition, while young women feel increasingly unwelcome: two-thirds of women age 18-29 say that most churches do not treat men and women equally. | September 23 — Dallas Jenkins, creator the popular TV series The Chosen based on the life and ministry of Jesus, announced he is expanding the "Chosen Cinematic Universe" with three new shows. That will be followed by a survival reality show featuring Bear Grylls and the cast of The Chosen, and then a 3-season series based on the life of Moses. (RELEVANT) |
