What if your "right now" isn't being wasted by God? ~ Ruth Chou Simons
The changing of seasons can be a funny thing. So often, we can't wait for the next season to begin, and yet we long to hold on to the current one.
Then there was the season when I was waiting on God for deliverance from a situation. I was unable to move forward without Him performing the miraculous. Looking back, I felt stuck… but God was teaching me to rely on His timing, not my own. Though it was hard to see at the time, He was working behind the scenes, preparing my heart for the breakthrough that would come only when I fully surrendered to His will.
What season of life are you in right now?
Are you waiting for something—a new job, a relationship, healing?
Or are you in an in-between season, where things are uncertain, and you're not quite sure what's next?
Maybe you're in a season of transition, torn between where you've been and where you're headed?
It's easy to get restless, to wish we could fast-forward to the part where everything comes together or makes sense. And it's tempting to rush ahead, to find comfort in the next thing.
But here's what I've learned from all these seasons: God is in each one, even when we're struggling to find our footing.
