Meditation is not new, and it is not new age. God, not the gurus, devised it, and it’s based on the Bible, not on Buddha.
Biblical meditation is an antidote to the unprecedented stress of our age. In a world where everyone is overwhelmed and undervalued, our survival, sanity, and saintliness depend on reclaiming the lost art of biblical meditation. This habit can dramatically lessen your anxiety in life, reduce your stress, bring new success to your days, and leave you with ocean depths of inner peace.
If you’re hesitant about meditation because these days it’s more commonly practiced in Eastern religions, it’s high time for Christians to reclaim the practice.

Children with a parent in prison often carry the burdens of their parents’ decisions. They are longing for connection with people who understand their situation.
There’s a place they can go this summer that’s filled with fun, caring mentors and the love of Jesus. It’s a Prison Fellowship Angel Tree camp. They’ll be surrounded by other kids who can relate to their struggles and camp counselors who will pray for them. Boys and girls will also get the opportunity to learn about how much God loves them.
When you give, you can help send a child to an Angel Tree camp this summer and change their life forever. Please don’t wait — camps are starting this month!

Recent research from the American Bible Society (ABS) has shed light on how young parents (Millennials and Gen Z) are faring with Scripture.
According to the 2026 State of the Bible report on “Parenting With the Bible,” young parents are open to Scripture, but struggling to fully engage. Balancing work and family life, with fatigue and worries about finances, tops the list of concerns. Providing their children with guidance and discipline is next, with spiritual needs at the bottom.
That’s surprising in light of the rest of the report.

Despite her father’s arrest and the crackdown on house churches, many Chinese Christians remain skeptical of advocacy, rooted in a theology of suffering and historical isolation. Drexel called for global awareness and solidarity, drawing on biblical examples like Esther and Nehemiah. (Christianity Today)

Armenia Close to Completing World’s Tallest Jesus Statue — May 20: Armenia is nearing completion of what could become the world’s tallest statue of Jesus Christ, a 252-foot monument surpassing Brazil’s Christ the Redeemer. Led by businessman Gagik Tsarukyan and promoted as a symbol of national renewal and tourism draw, the project has faced delays due to archaeological concerns and criticism from the Armenian Apostolic Church, which argues it doesn’t align with Armenian Christian tradition. Many folks are pretty surprised to find out that I am a pretty skeptical individual. I have to admit that I need to see and corroborate the evidence before coming to a conclusion because I don’t want to be hoodwinked.
As a skeptic, I take a similar approach to the New Testament. If I’m going to believe what the Gospels say, I need to first determine whether I can trust what they say. I need to test whether they are historically reliable.
So how can we know the New Testament Gospels are historically accurate? What sort of questions do we need to ask? Over the years, we have found four particular tests to be especially helpful when it comes to addressing skepticism and guiding Christians through their doubts about the Bible.
