Who will you be saying a special prayer for today? If you're a parent, chances are, your children are at the top of the list.
But for parents who have grown children, the challenges you face are new and unique. You may often struggle with questions such as:
- Will my children make good choices when they're on their own?
- How can I let them go when I've held them for so long?
Parent and author Jodie Berndt understands what it's like to release children into the world and still care deeply about them and everything they will face. In Praying the Scriptures for Your Adult Children, Jodie shares personal stories, real-life examples, and biblical prayers for you and your adult children — whether they are just leaving the nest, flying well on their own, or struggling to take off at all. | "Prayer is one of the most
important parenting assignments
we've been given. Once our kids
have "flown the nest," our
parenting will change
dramatically, but our sons and
daughters will always need our
prayers. As you delve into
Jodie's book, get ready to gain a
renewed commitment to this all important calling!"

"I don't know where you are right now or what decisions your family is facing, but I am confident of this: God loves your child, and he has a wonderful plan for his or her life. You may not know what the future holds, but you know who holds the future." |

Why Readers Love This Book |
"FANTASTIC!!! I highly recommend this book to every parent of adult children."
—Jani Y.
"Easy to read with lots to think about and many great Bible verses and prayers. Covers many topics that your adult children might be going through (looking for a job, moving, etc)."
Just what I was looking for. —Patty G.
"One of the greatest books I've read. This book helped me to think of ways that I hadn't thought of to pray for my adult children. I love my time when I get to read with Jodie. She has comforted my worries with scripture. P.S. I think she was eavesdropping on my family! Every problem I've dealt with was in the book!"
—FaithGateway reader review "This book has been invaluable to me for 2 reasons: the gathering of relevant scriptures in one place that relate to a specific concern and praying the loved one's name in the prayer. In all my years as a Christian, this has never occurred to me. I'll use this book many times."
