Jude is tucked away near the back of the Bible, a one-chapter letter (25 verses), often neglected, preserving a timeless message of warnings and pleas that had fallen on the deaf ears of previous generations — and has now come to the attention of ours.
Likely written in the first century, the letter speaks to believers facing a threat from within the church, and its message still speaks to us today.

2,000-Year-Old Aqueduct Section Unearthed Near Jerusalem — October 11: Archaeologists discovered a 300-meter section of Jerusalem’s Lower Aqueduct south of Kibbutz Ramat Rachel. Probably built under the Hasmonean kings, the 21-kilometer system carried spring water from Solomon’s Pools to the Temple Mount using a gentle gravity-fed gradient and remained intermittently operational until about a century ago. Authorities plan to preserve the section within the entrance to a new neighborhood. (Jerusalem Post)

Throughout His earthly ministry, the word Jesus used to address God Most High is Abba. It’s a transliteration. Meaning, translators wrote the sound of the word which the Hebrews spelled: Av.
Greek translators took the Aramaic or Hebrew, Av, and they wrote the closest word they had in their lexicon: Pater. In Greek it means “Father,” but “Father” in Greek and “Father” in Hebrew are not necessarily the same thing.

People often resist Revelation, but this book is a record filled with beauty, blessing, praise, joy, and hope.
These features are not just hidden nuggets, either. They are primary. The book of Revelation confronts us with scary images, but God’s goal is not to give his children nightmares. It’s to show us what we’re up against. Only then can we fully appreciate the One who fights for us — the One Satan is up against.
Hope in Revelation flows from the heart of our triune God (Rev. 1:4–5). It rushes over the cliff-edge of heaven and floods every chapter.
Let’s take a tour.
