Jamaica is reeling. Your help is needed to offer relief after the storm of the century.
This is a moment of crisis. Hurricane Melissa—now one of the most powerful Atlantic storms in history—made landfall in Jamaica. With sustained winds near 185 mph and 13-foot storm surges, Melissa is being called the "storm of the century." Houses have been torn apart. Floodwaters devastated entire communities. Families are unable to return home. The extent of the destruction is still unfolding—but Christian humanitarian organization Operation Blessing is already prepared to respond. Right now, our Global Disaster Response team is en route to Jamaica. We are in contact with local church networks to bring emergency food, clean water, hygiene kits, and the love of Jesus to those in need. But to respond quickly and effectively in the days ahead—we need your help. |
Your support today will help ensure that we are able to bring relief and restore hope in Jamaica and around the world after disaster. The people of Jamaica are facing one of the darkest days in their history. But together, we can be a light in the storm. Will you stand with us now? |
With gratitude, Your Operation Blessing Team P.S. The devastation is mounting by the minute. Please join us in prayer—and give as you're able—to help bring hope and healing in the name of Jesus when the storm passes. |
