Have you ever felt like your faith was missing something? Maybe you've studied God's Word, sought to follow Him faithfully, and yet still wondered: Where does the Holy Spirit fit into my everyday life?
You're not alone. Many believers think of the Spirit as showing up for the first time at Pentecost—but Scripture paints a far richer story. From the opening verses of Genesis, the Spirit is already present and active: hovering over the waters, sustaining creation, empowering God's people, and revealing God's presence throughout redemptive history.
That's exactly what we'll explore in our next Online Bible Study—The God You Need to Know with Margaret Feinberg—starting October 27th.
"Since the opening of Genesis, the Spirit appears, not as a momentary flash, but as one who hovers over the uncertainty and unknown in our cosmos and our personal lives. This reminds us that no matter what we're facing, chaos does not have the final say."
— Margaret Feinberg
As someone currently pursuing a Bible degree that surveys Scripture from the Pentateuch to Revelation, I am deeply excited about how this study draws out the Spirit's presence and purpose across the whole biblical narrative. In my role as editor of FaithGateway, I've seen firsthand how transformative it can be when believers deepen their understanding of the Holy Spirit—not just as a doctrine to study, but as the living presence of God at work in our lives.
Over six weeks, we'll trace the Spirit's activity from creation through the prophets and into the life of the early church, uncovering how He continues that same work in our lives today.
