When we set goals, like New Year's resolutions, most of us have an end result in mind. Then we make a plan to establish new habits to reach that goal.
The problem is that, while Bible study is the most important goal we can set, it is also the least measurable. You can study the Bible like a school textbook for thousands of hours and not grow in your walk with the Lord if it never moves to transform your heart.
