The second miracle Jesus performed was to heal the nobleman's son. Rabbi Sobel points out two details in this study that are miraculous in and of themselves: - The official truly believed that when Jesus said his son was healed, his son had actually been healed.
- Jesus was in Cana and the sick son was in Capernaum showing us there is no need for Jesus to be physically present for miracles to happen.
While the miracle itself was about the nobleman's son being healed, the details surrounding the location show how Jesus was fulfilling other prophecies. |
